Are Your Beliefs Hurting Your Post Cancer Recovery?

When you think about your healing, what feelings would you like to activate in yourself? Imagine yourself thinking:

I feel confident in my ability to create more time for healing

I feel relaxed because I am putting myself first

I feel a sense of deep healing and rejuvenation

I feel good about the healing treatments I have followed

I feel a sense of ease and security about my body

I feel a deep inner strength and confidence.

YOUR BELIEFS ARE KEY TO HOW YOU FEEL.

If you believe you are healing, you will feel more confident.

If you believe that your body is getting stronger, you will feel a greater sense of connection and trust.

If you believe that you are getting better, you will feel more peace

ARE YOUR BELIEFS HURTING YOUR RECOVERY?

Many people do experience post treatment issues related to chemotherapy, radiation, drugs, and surgery. Fatigue is a common side effect of chemotherapy and many people experience depression.  Knowing how to manage your thoughts and beliefs in regards to negative physical side effects, can be the difference between stressful living and peaceful acceptance that can influence healing.

Kathy Latour, writes about the devastating effects of cancer fatigue in an article in Cure Magazine .  The negative side effects from cancer treatment, can be so stressful, that it becomes very easy to believe our life will be difficult. We succumb to the limitations born out of our beliefs, and hinder healing beyond cancer.

We can learn to change our beliefs and feel better, even when experiencing negative side effects from treatment. We can learn to change our thinking, and activate feelings of well-being.

Ask yourself if your beliefs are hurting your post cancer recovery. Find ways to shift your perception and feel better. You have the power to engender deep awareness for fuller health.
